Class 1 professional truck driver
Leader transport Inc is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team for MTL, QC to USA lanes (East Coast) NY ,NJ ,PA ,MD ,DE. Brand new equipment available 2025 Volvo automatics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Operate heavy trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- 4 years Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
