Oria Heating & Cooling is a trusted, family-owned HVAC company proudly serving Ottawa and the surrounding communities since 2014. We specialize in residential heating, cooling, tankless water heaters, gas lines, and indoor air quality solutions.
As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician / Installer who is passionate about customer service, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow with a respected local company.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC equipment.
- Install and service furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, tankless water heaters, HRVs, humidifiers, and gas appliances.
- Perform equipment start-up, commissioning, and testing.
- Ensure all work complies with TSSA regulations, Ontario Building Code, and manufacturer specifications.
- Explain repair options and maintenance recommendations honestly to homeowners.
- Complete digital work orders, service reports, and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.
- Deliver outstanding customer service on every job.
- Work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
- Help maintain our excellent reputation by providing customer experience.
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC experience.
- Valid Gas Technician 2 (G2) License.
- 313D Residential Air Conditioning License (or registered apprentice working toward certification or experience in installing Air Condition ).
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience with furnaces, central air conditioners,, and water heaters.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Professional appearance with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones and digital work order software.
- Ability to lift equipment and work safely on ladders and rooftops when required.
- Criminal background check required before employment.
