Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our client's warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and equipment operation, contributing to a smooth supply chain process.

Working Hours: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 6:30AM-3:30PM
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach truck or order picker
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts in warehouse systems
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols
- Support warehouse distribution activities to optimize space utilization and workflow
- Ensure the proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles preferred
- Forklift certified on the Raymond Reach and Order Picker with experience
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce fulfillment is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of order picking, load & unload procedures, and packaging techniques
