Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients with precision and care, ensuring consistency and quality in every pie.
- Cook pizzas to perfection using commercial ovens, monitoring temperature and cooking times to achieve optimal results.
- Handle food safely by following proper sanitation, storage, and handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, grating cheese, and portioning ingredients for efficient service.
- Serve customers at the counter or via takeout orders with friendly, attentive service that enhances their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments with a focus on food preparation and cooking.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and effectively.
- Strong serving skills with a friendly attitude that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
