About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Standing Seam Metal Roof Installation Expert to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled installer with extensive experience in standing seam metal roofing systems and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install standing seam metal roofing systems on residential, commercial, and agricultural projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and fabricate metal roofing panels and flashing with precision.
- Install underlayment, clips, trim, ridge caps, snow retention systems, and other roofing components.
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company quality standards.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and watertight performance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Work efficiently as part of a professional installation crew.
- Mentor less experienced installers when required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience installing standing seam metal roofing systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical lock and snap-lock standing seam systems.
- Experience with panel layout, flashing fabrication, and complex roof details.
- Ability to identify and resolve installation challenges in the field.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Fall protection and safety certifications are an asset.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating roll-forming equipment.
- Sheet metal fabrication experience.
- Experience with architectural metal wall panels.
- Ability to lead a crew and maintain project schedules.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
