dynamic and experienced Floor Service Supervisor to lead front-of-house service at a
prestigious, high-profile sailing event in Halifax!

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support front-of-house teams to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
- Act as the main point of contact for floor operations during the event
- Coordinate staff assignments, sections, and service flow
- Provide hands-on support during peak service periods
- Ensure adherence to service standards and event expectations
- Monitor guest experience and proactively address any service issues
- Liaise with bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators
- Assist with setup, execution, and tear-down of event service areas
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be 19+ (Nova Scotia legal working age for alcohol service)

Valid Serve Right Certification (Nova Scotia) required

Experience in events, banquets, or high-volume hospitality environments preferred

Flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, and event hours)

Ability to stand and move for extended periods

Previous experience in a supervisory role (Floor Captain, Supervisor, Lead Server, or similar)

Strong leadership and team management skills

Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences

Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor
