Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; flexible to work weekends as required.
Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Support Coordinator will manage daily warehouse system workflows, act as the WMS/SAP expert, resolve system issues, coordinate incident resolution, and produce productivity reporting in a fast paced logistics environment.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Create inbound deliveries for daily receipts
- Create outbound orders for daily transfers to other facilities
- Be the subject matter expert services for questions about the normal operation of the WMS system
- Support regular product slotting reviews and execute changes within SAP, assisting team in timely rotation and repositioning of inventory based on demand
- Proactively deal with issues relating to flow of goods
- Provide support and troubleshoot local WMS system, ensuring that incidents are corrected within the allotted SLA timeframe
- Generate daily productivity reports
- Maintain the RF equipment and managing the returns and repairs process
- Coordinate incidents between support teams on widespread issues impacting the WMS system
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a fast paced, logistics environment
- Thorough knowledge and experience with third party logistics services and processes
- Post-Secondary education and/or a combination of relevant experience and education
- Recent and relevant SAP Warehouse Management support experience and
- Report generation experience using SAP/BW in a distribution environment
- System expert i.e. pick strategies, warehouse layout, productivity measurements
- Demonstrated experience with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills in French and English (process documentation experience an asset)
- Ability to analyze, plan, organize and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency using Microsoft office applications
- Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills
- Experience with Pick to Light, PLC, Conveyor systems and other work optimization equipment or systems is an asset

The position holder will be required to communicate regularly with clients, management and colleagues located outside Quebec as part of work and case follow-ups. An intermediate level of spoken and written English is required.
