As a key member of the Stampede Toyota team and reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales BDC will work with the sales department, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry.
Stampede Toyota is seeking our next great team member to join our team as a full-time Automotive Sales BDC at our location in Calgary.
Summary:
The Sales BDC is an important point of contact for customers and prospects, managing leads and scheduling appointments to support the Sales Team. This role ensures a professional, customer-focused experience while helping drive showroom traffic and sales opportunities.
Major Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with customers and prospects via phone, email, text, or in person.

Handle all inbound sales inquiries and follow up on Internet, phone, and walk-in leads.

Make outbound contacts to potential and existing customers to schedule appointments and generate sales opportunities.

Qualify customer interest and gather vehicle preferences and needs.

Maintain accurate notes and follow-up tasks in the CRM system.

Assist customers in selecting vehicles and provide product information.

Direct customers to online resources and the dealership website.

Work closely with Product Advisors and Sales Managers to ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery.

Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.

Coordinate sales promotions and advertising initiatives with other dealership activities.

Stay up to date on all dealership products, services, and features.

Attend sales meetings and product training as required.

Maintain a professional appearance and a customer-first approach in all interactions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; additional education (e.g., associate or bachelor’s degree) preferred.

No prior sales experience is necessary; however, experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Competent and comfortable using computers with windows software.

High level of integrity and work ethic.

Commitment to providing excellent customer service, with a focus on building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ability to perform basic math and handle financial transactions accurately.

Exceptional verbal and written communication.

Legally entitled to work in Canada by any employer.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
