INFINITEK is partnering with a leading industrial manufacturer in Northern Ontario to recruit Industrial Millwrights for a major facility transformation and restart project in Kapuskasing.
Following a period of curtailment, significant investment has been secured through both federal and local government funding to support the restart and redevelopment of operations, including the conversion and expansion of manufacturing capabilities. As the site ramps up production, we are looking to rebuild a highly skilled maintenance team and bring experienced trades professionals back into the operation.

What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on manufacturing and processing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to maximize equipment reliability
- Support maintenance activities during planned shutdowns
- Complete welding, fabrication, and equipment modification work as required
- Maintain buildings, grounds, and facility systems associated with the role
- Participate in weekend duty and scheduled maintenance activities
- Work safely and comply with all health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures
What We're Looking For
- Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A) or Red Seal Millwright certification
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing, pulp & paper, wood products, mining, sawmill, or heavy industrial environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
Schedule & Compensation
- Starting wage: $37.67 per hour (as per collective agreement)
- Unionized position
- Rotating schedule: 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Days Off
- Overtime opportunities available
