Avalanche Metal Industries is seeking a full-time Journeymen Steel Fabricator.
Avalanche Metal requires a positive, team-oriented individual who can contribute to the growth of the company. You will be responsible for:
- Fabrication of steel assemblies ranging from simple tables to complex sawmill equipment.
- Review drawings to plan a fabrication strategy and recognize any possible issues.
- Following both customer and internal prints to ensure parts meet quality expectations
- Valid CWB tickets an asset but we will provide testing for any required procedures
- Safe and efficient use of supportive tools such as grinders, jigs/fixtures etc.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years fabrication experience. Sawmill experience an asset.
- High attention to detail
- Proven team player
- Strong work ethic
- Familiar with testing and measuring equipment
