At this time we are looking for certified Health Care Aides. Our clients require HCA certified caregivers that are experienced and familiar with the requirements of this position.
Availability to work Monday to Friday shifts are required. Driving and a reliable vehicle are required.
We are a private home care company- we provide care to our clients in their homes. Our minimum visit with each client is generally 4 hours or longer, so this is NOT a homecare job where you spend your day driving from house to house for 30 minute visits. That said, the ability to drive is required. The needs of our clients range widely from meal preparation to personal care such as bathing and toileting, to help with laundry, tidying the house and companionship for those with dementia. It is important for you to be able to work independently however, we are available by phone at all times if any questions do arise.
The client we are providing services for in Strathmore requires weekday shifts, Monday to Friday. The start/finish time can be flexible for the right caregiver, but the client prefers mid morning to mid afternoon for these shifts. The caregiver should have the ability to drive the client in their own car for outings to appointments, and possibly to take the client for outings to Calgary and back, once a week. Outings to Calgary and back are a full day of 8 + hours. Mileage and hourly rate is paid for driving.
