Job Responsibilities
The Property Manager ensures properties are maintained and operated in accordance with objectives and facilitates solutions to problems between communities and internal support staff.
- Provide management and leadership to properties within the assigned region and book of business.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and communicate established goals.
- Manage a team across different properties while maintaining high standards for processes, methods, and personnel.
- Oversee process improvement and quality control to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality service.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the Board of Directors and internal departments.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify deficiencies, and provide recommendations and action plans.
- Maintain awareness of changes in rules, statutes, or regulations and communicate changes to staff, directing training when necessary.
Education & Experience
- Hold a Limited License in good standing.
- RCM or other recognized property management designation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the condominium management industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
- Working knowledge and experience in financial accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting in real estate.
- Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering, and building operations is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
- Strong knowledge and application of the Condominium Act in community operations.
- Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, and regulations.
- Knowledge of the mechanical operations of a building and equipment is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be available for emergency on-call shifts, after-hours service, and evening meeting commitments.
Travel
Travel to the local head office is required.
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
