Prairie North Const. Ltd. is recruiting for the role of Civil – Foreman for Various projects in Alberta.

Duties:

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

· Responsible for supervising small to medium size crews (10-30)

· Ability to train and lead by example as well as delegate roles and responsibilities for crews

· Ability to give direction to a team and keep morale positive

· Able to deal with difficult situations and resolve issues between co-workers, consultants, subcontractors ect.

· Conduct hazard assessments, tailgate meetings and all other required documentation

· Give operators/laborer's competency assessments on a range of equipment: Dozer, Excavator, Grader, Articulating Rock Trucks, Packers ect

· Ability to read and understand blue prints, track daily job productions and job coding

· Proficient and competent in heavy construction and equipment

· Take direction from Superintendent

· Able to multitask and work with a variety of trades including consultants and subcontractors

· Maintain company image

· Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

· Possesses 4+ experience in a similar supervisory role

· Experience operating in Civil Earthworks Construction considered an asset

· Experience operating different equipment is considered an asset

· Personal Vehicle with a Valid driver’s licence and a copy of a recent Drivers Abstract to be provided

· Up to date certificates: First Aid, Ground Disturbance, LSE (Leadership for Safety Excellence) etc.
