Benchmark Fabricators Inc. operates a modern sheet and plate fabrication shop serving commercial and industrial clients across Ontario.
Position Overview
We are hiring a CNC Press Brake Operator to set up and run CNC press brakes, forming precision sheet and plate components to drawing specifications. This role suits a detail-oriented operator who takes pride in first-part accuracy and consistent quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes (Amada, Trumpf, or similar) to bend sheet and plate
- Read and interpret flat-pattern and formed-part drawings, including bend allowances and tolerances
- Select, install, and align tooling (punches and dies) for each job
- Program or adjust bend sequences at the machine controller as required
- Inspect first-off and in-process parts using tape, squares, protractors, and calipers
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Maintain production throughput while meeting quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC press brake operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and flat-pattern drawings
- Strong understanding of bend allowances, springback, and forming tolerances
- Experience setting up press brake tooling
- Comfortable using precision measuring instruments
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to lift and handle sheet metal

Pay: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
