We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Residential and Commercial Installer to join our team. As a Lead Installer, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by ensuring the efficient and high-quality installation of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of various equipment and systems including (but not limited to); forced-air furnaces and air handlers, air conditioning units, heat pumps, on-demand hot water heaters, hydronic equipment and controls, ductless split systems, packed rooftop unit, exhaust fans, unit heaters, etc.
- Installation and proper testing of gas piping.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, including work van and work site.
- Interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and providing explanations as needed.
- Supervise and mentor novice and apprentice team members.
- Correspond and effectively communicate with install coordinators on all jobs, and follow ups.
- Able to carry heavy equipment with other team members, and work at various heights
- Operation of lift equipment, such as scissor and Sky Jack platforms.
- Understand and utilize proper fundamentals of refrigerant handling and charging
- Complete daily administrative tasks such as; payment collecting, completing work order details, issuing and clearing red tag infractions, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience working in HVAC installations
- Gas Fitter 2
- 313D Certificate of Qualification
- Strong knowledge and understanding of gas and electrical codes.
- Demonstrates strong brazing skills for refrigerant lines
- Ability to compose and respond to emails in a professional and prompt manner
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal team members and clients.
