Press Realty is a growing, locally owned real estate brokerage based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We're looking for an energetic, creative, and organized individual to help elevate our brand presence through events, social media, and engaging content creation.
This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, social media trends, networking, and creating high-quality photo and video content. You'll play a key role in helping showcase our agents, culture, events, and community involvement while strengthening our online presence.
Position Details
- Part-Time (20-20 hours per week, flexible)
- Primarily based in Halifax, with occasional travel to events and community activities
- Hourly wage based on experience
- Some evening and weekend availability required for events
What You'll Do
Event Coordination & Brand Promotion
- Assist with planning and executing brokerage events, open houses, client appreciation events, community sponsorships, and networking opportunities
- Represent Press Realty at events as a professional brand ambassador
- Coordinate event logistics, vendor communication, and promotional activities
- Capture photos and videos during events
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Film, edit, and publish short-form video content including Reels, TikToks, agent spotlights, behind-the-scenes content, and event coverage
- Develop content ideas aligned with current social media trends
- Assist with maintaining a content calendar and posting schedule
- Monitor engagement and help grow our online audience
Videography & Photography
- Capture professional-quality video and photo content featuring agents, listings, events, and community initiatives
- Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
- Organize and maintain a library of marketing assets
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Strong videography and video editing skills
- Comfortable directing others on camera
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Reliable transportation and willingness to attend events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Photography skills
- Knowledge of social media analytics and growth strategies
- Experience working with brands, marketing teams
- Graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
