We are currently seeking a graduate in electronics, telecommunications, or computer science, OR with experience in IT network management and / or in cellular and transmission systems operations. This role requires autonomy as well as strong time management and prioritisation skills. The nature of this position involves flexible and variable hours. Several activities related to this position must be performed when the network is least in demand, so very often during nights. If challenges and constant change drive you, this position is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Site management: ensure systematic maintenance of all network elements including environment elements and data transmission, cellular or data services
- Network equipment troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Plan, document, and execute network equipment changes requiring service interruptions and multiple resources coordination
- This position requires 24 X 7 scheduling flexibility (on-call rotations)
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party partners that will provide standby support for additional maintenance activities
- Ensure service and maintenance of vehicles and equipment for which you will be responsible for
