Job Title: HD Mechanic (3rd year+)

Position Summary:
The HD Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining the company’s fleet in accordance to Defender LTL’s maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Keep accurate maintenance records
Qualifications:
- 3rd-Year+ Heavy Equipment Technician Truck/Transport Mechanic certification
- Experience with highway tractors, trailers, and hydraulics
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
