Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the site superintendent to monitor day to day site operations
- Coordinate sub trade tasks and workflow on site
- Assign tasks to carpenters, apprentices, and laborers
- Work alongside the safety department to ensure safety adherence
- Maintain current knowledge of job site activities, sub-trades, changes and upcoming tasks
- Use blueprints to confirm layouts, finishes, barrier free design, etc.
- Mentor, train and develop site staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trades certificate or diploma.
- 8+ years construction site experience preferred.
- 2+ years experience in a foreperson role in commercial construction
- Experience on 10+ million-dollar projects
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic computer skills (email, excel, teams, site docs or related safety platform)
Other Specifications:
- Must have your own transportation.
