Job Summary
New Wave Tents is hiring dependable and hardworking individuals to join our event setup team. Crew members will assist with setting up and taking down tents, tables, chairs, lighting, and other event equipment for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private functions across the GTA.
This is a physically active, team-oriented role ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and working in fast-paced environments.
Duties
- Set up and dismantle tents and event equipment
- Load and unload equipment from company vehicles
- Assist with transporting and organizing event materials
- Ensure tents and equipment are installed safely and properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites
- Follow instructions from team leads and event coordinators
- Assist with general labour tasks during events
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lift 50+ lbs comfortably
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Access to transportation is preferred
- Previous labour, moving, construction, or event setup experience is an asset but not required
