Job Description
Work Conditions:

Starting wage: $35.75 an hour.

On the daily, you will:
Preventive Maintenance
-
Participate in planning and executing routine preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
-
Document all maintenance tasks, repairs, time required, and parts used on work orders.

Recommend improvements to reduce future breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
Maintenance & Equipment Repair:
-
Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installation on machinery, tools, and industrial equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.

Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
Operational Support:
-
Assist with the preparation and implementation of lockout/tagout procedures.

Support recycling operations, including the handling and processing of materials.

Source and procure general small tool parts as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
Millwright trade certification or relevant trade certification;
-
3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or millwright work;
-
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical;
-
Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication is preferred;
-
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics;
-
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently;

Computer literacy for maintenance documentation requirements;
-
Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and adjustments.

Physical Demands:

Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching;

Use of hands for handling tools, parts, and equipment;

Occasional kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces;

Regular lifting and moving of materials; items over 50 lbs require assistance or mechanical support;

Visual requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to see details at close range;

Willingness to work overtime or respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
