Mississauga Secondary Academy (MSA) is a welcoming private high school dedicated to helping students succeed in a supportive and positive learning environment. Our team works closely with students to build strong academic foundations, encourage personal growth, and create meaningful learning experiences every day.
As a representative of our school, you will act as an external agent, presenting the school to potential students and parents to drive inquiries and enrollments. Your role will involve creating methods to attract prospective students, answering their queries, and assisting them with the registration process. This role is ideal for students or career changers looking to build practical skills, strengthen their portfolio, and gain valuable experience.
This is an unpaid position but based off performance opportunities for pay will be available
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote MSA's business through advertising efforts, including posting posters.
- Develop flyers and social media content for the school.
- Utilize email and mobile marketing to follow up with prospective students.
- Assist in coordinating the graphics and content needed for proposals, social media, and external promotions.
- Assisting optimize digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Translate marketing communications into multiple languages.
- Regularly liaise with printers and distributors to print and distribute marketing communications.
- Review the inquiry system to attract potential students and sort through inquiries to contact them.
- Plan and coordinate events, functions, and meetings.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including admissions and administration, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Report on weekly KPI’s.
Qualifications:
- Completed Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
- Enrollment in a post-secondary institution (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a kind, patient, and passionate approach.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proven experience or familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and Google Analytics.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred:
- Experience in educational marketing or working within a school environment.
- Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and keyword research.
- Ability to analyze data to optimize campaigns.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Creative thinker with a passion for marketing.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
