Job Role:
- The position will focus on supporting/leading design, installation, and repair of surveillance cameras, alarm systems, access control, and automation systems in commercial and residential settings throughout the Lower Mainland.
- Survey and evaluate location, identifying installation requirements, laying-out plan. Install equipment; runs wiring; calibrate equipment.
- Verify the system functions properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identify and correct problems.
- Prepare for installations by reviewing installation orders, coordinating schedules with customers.
- Install the equipment safely and efficiently
- Train end users
Must have:
- Experience in installing video surveillance, alarm systems, access control, and automation
- Valid Driver License
Assets:
- Security Alarm Installer BC Trade Qualification (TQ)
- Security Alarm FSR (SA FSR)
- Others FSR's (Class A,B,LO)
- Experience in structured cabling, networking, audio
- Experience in fire alarms, elevator controls etc.
Company vehicle, gas card, & laptop will be provided.
