Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and the warehouse.
- Place purchase orders with Chinese and local suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers on production schedules, order status, and delivery timelines.
- Communicate with Chinese suppliers to track orders and shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies.
- Prepare shipping labels, customs documentation, and packing slips.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with purchasing.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding lead times, product availability, and returns.
- Handle returns and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Maintain accurate logistics and purchasing records.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (French is a strong asset).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience purchasing products from Chinese and local Canadian suppliers.
- Experience coordinating import shipments from China, including working with freight forwarders and customs documentation.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, ERP/inventory systems, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
