Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Guest Services Associate to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, assisting with food service, and supporting special events. Available a minimum of 24 hours/week permanent from August. If you have a passion for hospitality and love creating memorable guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you!
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide warm, professional service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Assist with food service, including setting up, serving, and clearing meals.
- Support special events such as corporate retreats, weddings, and group gatherings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and common areas.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with efficiency and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
