Overview
We are seeking a professional, experienced and reliable Driver with a personal vehicle / company to provide safe and efficient transportation services. This role requires a dedicated individual with excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting youth, staff or household related goods while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate your own vehicle for the transportation of goods/passengers to and from designated locations.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
- Ensure timely deliveries/pickups according to scheduled routes / timelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling (where applicable), and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Comply with all local / state driving regulations, and company policies during operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and manager regarding schedules, delays, or route changes.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving or professional transportation services is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical strength and stamina
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with youth and team members
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for professional use, insured according to local regulations (preference is for a candidate that owns a legally registered transportation company).
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with local roads and routes
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
