Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in food preparation as needed
- Manage restaurant operations, including overseeing daily activities and ensuring smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas
- Lead by example in food handling, hospitality, and teamwork to foster a positive work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary
- Ensure all food industry standards are met or exceeded, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Provide leadership in training new staff members and managing team performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant setting
- Supervising experience or prior restaurant management background preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality standards
- Prior experience with serving guests and managing restaurant operations is highly desirable
