The DZ Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery and pickup of products to clients at various locations across Ontario while following all laws and regulations of the province. The DZ Delivery Driver represents the company, providing superior professional customer service to our clients.
Major Areas of Responsibilities

Performing truck inspections and filling out daily logs

Driving safely and following laws of Ontario and MTO guidelines

Delivery and pickup of products

Collection of customer payments
-
Loading/unloading trucks and moving product, equipment or bulk materials by hand and/or using unpowered or powered equipment

General housekeeping of work area

Other duties as required

Education/Certification/Experience

DZ licence with clean abstract

Minimum of 3 years driving experience in DZ capacity

Forklift experience and certification (asset)

Work Environment
While performing the duties of the DZ/AZ Delivery Driver position, the employee will have exposure to all types of outside elements (rain, snow, extreme cold/hot conditions), as well as a warehouse environment which includes moving forklifts and bedmovers and delivery trucks in the parking lot. The noise level in this environment is moderate.

Hours of Work
40.0 – 47.5 hours/week; varies according to individual branch seasonal operating hours
Includes 30-minute unpaid meal break + 2 paid 15-minute breaks each shift
