G-Force Security is seeking dedicated Full-Time Security Officers to join our team at Burnaby, BC. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, professional appearance, and a keen sense of awareness. Successful candidates must be comfortable standing and conducting patrols for extended periods while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify potential risks.
- Enforce site security policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and security concerns.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.
- Control access to the property by verifying identification and managing visitor access.
- Support loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing suspicious activities.
- Provide professional customer service and assistance to visitors, tenants, and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring and surveillance practices is preferred.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Ability to pass background screening and meet all security licensing requirements.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
