We are seeking a committed Relief Pharmacist to become part of our team in Chilliwack, BC. This contract position offers full-time hours in a patient-focused, team-oriented environment, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and fill prescriptions in accordance with provincial and federal regulations
- Offer thorough guidance to patients on specialty medications, covering usage instructions and possible side effects
- Work alongside pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
- Assist with day-to-day operations such as inventory management and record-keeping
Qualifications:
- Possess or be eligible for licensing as a Pharmacist in British Columbia
- Previous experience in a specialty pharmacy or handling specialty medications is an asset
- Excellent clinical abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented approach
