Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms
- Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, and port fixes using hand tools and schematics
- Troubleshoot operating systems, including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, to resolve software conflicts or malfunctions
- Assist customers with device setup, software updates, and troubleshooting to enhance user experience
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each device
- Conduct analysis of device problems to identify root causes and recommend solutions or upgrades
- Stay current with new mobile device models, operating system updates, and repair techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
- Strong understanding of Android and iOS operating systems along with familiarity with macOS and Windows environments
- Ability to read schematics and use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs
- Knowledge of computer hardware components relevant to mobile devices and troubleshooting software issues
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex technical problems quickly and accurately
- Retail sales experience is a plus, especially in customer-facing roles involving technology products
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers of all levels
