The Opportunity
We are currently looking to add a Gear Shop Technician to our industry leading service, rebuilding and maintenance team.
What Will You Do
- Clean and Disassemble differentials and transmissions.
- Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Complete full overhauls of differentials and transmissions.
- Build drivetrain stock for our inventory and sales teams.
- Accurately document, diagnose and repair issues within estimated times.
- Keep your assigned work orders updated with the details of all work performed and parts used accurately and efficiently.
- Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Who You Are
- You have a passion for all things mechanical.
- You likely have hands-on experience working with gears, transmissions and differentials.
- You love working with your hands and don’t mind getting those hands dirty.
- You’re comfortable using hand tools and power tools, but are pretty tech-savvy as well.
- You’re confident and comfortable working independently, but also enjoy being part of a team.
- You’re a proverbial “sponge” who enjoys absorbing knowledge from industry experts.
- You understand that asking for help when needed, and also sharing your knowledge with others, are essential pillars to an effective workplace.
