Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero, and possess strong analytical skills. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review
- Maintain and update accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed
- Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency
- Support strategic planning through detailed financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Accountant or Controller
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and account reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret financial data accurately and communicate findings effectively
- Experience with account analysis and internal controls is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
