Noble Ridge Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned winery located in Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. We are passionate about crafting premium Okanagan wines that reflect our vineyard and our region. We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Harvest Cellar Hand to join our winemaking team for Harvest 2026!
The successful applicant will join a small winemaking team and be hands-on in all aspects of harvest and cellar operations - from crushing fruit through to barreling down. The position is expected to run from late August/early September through early November.
Key Responsibilities
- Grape Processing: Grape and Juice Reception, Destemming, Crushing, and Pressing
- Fermentation Management: Inoculations, Nutrient Additions, Sampling, Pump Overs, Punch Downs, Fermentation analysis, and Digging Out of Fermenters
- Cellar Work: Barrel Work, Racking, Product Transfers, Product Blending, and Product Additions
- Cellar Sanitation: Tank & Barrel Cleaning, and general cleaning of facility and winery equipment
- Basic Lab Analysis
- Follow all safety procedures as directed by SOP
Qualifications
- Winemaking or Viticulture education an asset but not required
- Previous harvest experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting (up to 55lbs))
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Candidate must be hands on, dependable, and self-starting.
- Good problem solving abilities along with basic logistic skills required.
- Willing to work long hours and overtime if necessary
