Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our rehab & performance team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a professional who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care and maintaining a high standard of practice within a supportive environment. The Registered Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring a positive and healing experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to create customized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress updates
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance results
- Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and clinic policies
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and health conditions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and addressing client questions
- Ability to work in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality and respecting client privacy
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth within the field of massage therapy
Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
