Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

This role involves providing insights on financial results, contract reviews, and billables, requiring strong business acumen and experience in accounting and contract administration.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and track Purchase Orders, GRPOs, and process AP invoices for payment.
- Enter data into an SAP system, including contract documents, purchasing, and billing.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with sublease vendors and operational subcontractors.
- Ensure all AP invoices align with contract third-party agreements and rental billing.
- Manage and maintain vendor setup, maintenance, and payment details database.
- Address issues such as unpaid or incorrect invoices, purchase order, and pricing discrepancies.
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- 1+ years of invoicing experience, including resolving invoice and vendor issues.
- Proven track record of processing a large number of invoices (200-300 per month).
- Customer service skills with vendors, including following up for payments via phone calls/emails.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel (pivot tables, X-lookups, V-lookups).
- Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Business One is a plus.
- Month-end process experience is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic with the capacity to handle large volumes of work.
- Ability to work well with various personalities.
- Eagerness to learn and highly detail-oriented.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The work environment is focused and task-oriented. Opportunities for career development are available, as the company values internal promotions.
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
