True North Sports + Entertainment is seeking a creative, organized, and fan-focused Marketing Services Coordinator to support engaging campaigns and memorable experiences for Winnipeg Jets fans and the community.
The Marketing Services Coordinator supports a variety of marketing initiatives and campaigns for True North Sports + Entertainment. Working collaboratively across the Marketing team, this role helps execute campaigns that drive ticket sales, grow the youth fanbase through the Jets Kids Club, and support the Winnipeg Jets App and Jets 360 program. This position is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to learn, grow, and develop within a professional sports marketing environment.
What to be excited for in this role:

Support the planning and execution of youth-focused marketing initiatives to bring innovative programs and campaigns to life while assisting with additional marketing duties and projects across the organization.

Contribute to the execution of digital fan engagement platforms, including the Jets App and Jets360 Loyalty Program – ensuring fans stay connected, rewarded and excited.

Work closely with the creative and content teams to develop visually engaging assets, such as promotional graphics, social media visuals, video content, and email campaigns.

Assist in coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns, aligning timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder feedback to keep projects on track and impactful.

Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting, compiling key metrics and insights across digital platforms to inform continuous improvement.

Collaborate with departments across the organization – from game presentation to community engagement - to support cohesive, fan-first campaigns.

Provide general administrative support and take on additional projects as assigned.

Provide market & trend research, regularly tracking other professional sports teams and entertainment brands to bring new ideas to the table that could be piloted locally.

Assist in the ideation and execution of engaging contests, giveaways, and fan rewards, from prize sourcing to coordinating winner communication.

Act as a fan insight liaison by gathering fan feedback from surveys, social listening, and app interactions to help shape future campaigns and fan experience enhancements.

Manage and update select website content, ensuring timely and accurate information is published.

Acts as a brand representative at games, events and community activations, engaging fans, promoting Jets Kids Club memberships, and supporting on-site marketing initiatives.
What we need from you:

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, Business, or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field; internships or relevant co-op placements are an asset.

Interest in sports and entertainment marketing, particularly hockey, is considered a strong asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and copy accuracy is essential.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and project management platforms (e.g., Asana) is an asset.

Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, email platforms, and social media.

Comfortability with reading and interpreting data sets and reports to identify trends.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.

Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
