About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced Human Resources professional with a passion for Total Rewards, HR systems, and process improvement? This opportunity offers the chance to play a key role within a public sector organization, supporting critical HR operations while contributing to the implementation of a new Human Capital Management System.
Working closely with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure the accuracy of employee data, reporting, and benefits administration while supporting projects that strengthen HR processes and enhance the employee experience.

Your Responsibilities
- You'll administer employee benefits programs, including pension, life insurance, LTIP, vacation accruals, annual payouts, and employee leave administration.
- You'll support job evaluation and compensation review processes while ensuring consistency with organizational standards.
- You'll assist with the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCMS by documenting HR processes, supporting system testing, validating data, and developing standard operating procedures.
- You'll prepare, analyze, and distribute recurring HR reports, including headcount, organizational charts, master position reporting, and quarterly internal and external reporting requirements.
- You'll respond to audit requests, manage inquiries received through the HR mailbox, and support invoice processing and accounts receivable activities.
- You'll collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain accurate HR data, perform reconciliations, and support ongoing process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong background in HR operations, reporting, and Total Rewards.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as ADP, with Oracle Fusion implementation experience considered a strong asset.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, dashboards, Power Query, macros, scenario modelling, and analysis of large datasets.
- Strong understanding of benefits administration, HR data integrity, reporting, compliance, and HR systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and other HR systems and databases.
