Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to operate commercial vehicles across long distances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a professional team dedicated to excellence in logistics and transportation. Dedicated AB -BC , AB -ON/QC trips.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and long-haul driving preferred
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and traffic regulations for commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently on long routes while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
- Physical ability to handle freight, operate heavy equipment, and perform vehicle inspections as needed
Pay: $7,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
