As a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader, you are not just leading a crew — you are leading by example. You are responsible for managing a two-person team while actively performing services in the field. You set the tone for professionalism, efficiency, and execution every single day.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a two-person maintenance crew
- Set daily expectations and ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards
- Coach team members on quality, safety, and productivity
- Maintain crew morale while reinforcing performance expectations
- Serve as the primary field representative of Paramount’s professionalism
Service Delivery
- Perform landscape maintenance services including:
- Spring and fall clean-ups
- Mowing, trimming, edging
- Garden and bed maintenance
- Fertilizing and pruning
- Spray applications (valid spray licence or experience is an asset)
- Operate commercial equipment including zero-turn mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other machinery
- Safely operate company trucks and trailers
All services are tracked and documented through our internal systems to ensure transparency and accountability. Attention to detail is critical.
Work Schedule & Performance Expectations
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. until completion of daily assignments
- Rare Saturdays as dictated by weather or seasonal demand
- Extended hours during peak season, with regular 10-12 hour days
- Commitment to working in all weather conditions
This is a performance-driven role. Seasonal intensity is part of the industry, and leadership consistency is non-negotiable.
Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted G or G2 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to confidently drive a truck and trailer
- Minimum three (3) years of landscaping or related field experience
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience required
- Strong communication skills with both supervisors and team members
- Experience operating zero-turn mowers and commercial equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

- Landscape maintenance: 3 years (required)
- Mowing: 3 years (required)
- Basic mechanical knowledge: 3 years (required)
- Operation of Ride-On, Walk Behind and Push Mowers: 3 years (required)
- Driving Truck with Enclosed Trailer: 3 years (required)
- Pruning: 3 years (required)
- Ontario Spray License: 3 years (required)
