Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our busy restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Support team members in meal assembly during busy service periods
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
