We are looking to fill a Day Shift Warehouse Associate – Forklift Operator position at our Simtab warehouse in Laval.
As a Warehouse Associate, your role will include executing product orders based on priority while ensuring all established quality standards are met. You will be responsible for using and maintaining the equipment provided and for complying with all warehouse health and safety regulations.
Handle 4x8 panel products
Prepare merchandise orders for shipment
Place products in designated locations and perform receiving tasks
Load pallets onto transport trucks
Pick orders in the aisles
Pack customer orders
Organize and classify products in the warehouse
Operate a forklift
Perform manual warehouse tasks
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Maintain warehouse cleanliness (mopping, mechanical sweeping)
Perform any other tasks related to warehouse operations and inventory management
Valid forklift operator certification
High school diploma or equivalent (an asset)
Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse environment
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and work discipline
Has good physical capabilities
Is able to work independently
