Full-Time Employee PositionWe are currently seeking an experienced Eavestrough Installer / Soft Metals Service Technician to join our team as a full-time employee.
This role is ideal for a self-sufficient installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and can handle service work independently.
Position OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing eavestrough systems and related soft metal components. This role requires hands-on experience, the ability to run jobs independently, and comfort operating equipment and company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair eavestrough, downspouts, soffit, and fascia
- Respond to and complete service calls independently
- Operate and maintain an on-site eave forming machine
- Drive and maintain a company service van
- Measure, cut, form, and install soft metals accurately
- Assess job sites and problem-solve installation or drainage issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with eavestrough and downspout installation
- Experience installing soffit and fascia (soft metals)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable operating an eavestrough forming machine
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to lift materials, work at heights, and perform outdoor work
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Service and repair troubleshooting experience
- Residential and light commercial experience
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Strong customer service skills
