Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or blueprint reading is a plus but not mandatory. Duties
- Assist with general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Support skilled carpenters in their daily activities including setting up and stripping forms
- Operate hand tools safely and efficiently for tasks
- Read and interpret basic schematics and blueprints to aid in project execution
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices
- Experience or familiarity with carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics, or restoration work is preferred
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards safety protocols
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated individualsThis position is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in construction.
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
