Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. We are growing and are looking to add to our professional team. This role involves supporting our crew , maintenance, and operational tasks across our projects. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 1 to 3 experience in paving, landscaping or a similar role. Training will be provided, but a positive attitude and willingness to contribute are essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the industry and develop valuable skills for future career growth.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading machinery and equipment onsite
- Support operators with their tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of project sites
- Perform general manual labour such as raking, digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a clean work space at sites
- Support project teams in various tasks to meet project deadlines
Experience
- Prior experience is considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction or industrial environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing priorities
