Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class 4 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of children, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the school bus.
- Transport children to and from school in a courteous, timely, and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting children with boarding and seating when required.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness (brakes, lights, fuel, tires, etc.).
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and any required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Report accidents, mechanical issues, or delays immediately to the supervisor.
- Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the trip.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 Driver’s License (Unrestricted or Restricted, depending on vehicle type).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Physically able to assist passengers with mobility needs (if applicable).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
2 hours in the morning
2 hours in the afternoon
