Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, credit, lottery, and other transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays while ensuring products are properly organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing merchandise.
- Verify age identification for restricted products in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Follow store policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash transactions.
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
