We are a privately owned, two-doctor small animal practice located in Northwest Calgary, committed to providing high-quality medicine, exceptional patient care, and a supportive team environment. We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who is passionate about veterinary medicine, enjoys working collaboratively, and is looking to play an integral role in a close-knit practice.
About the Role
This position is ideal for an RVT who is confident in anesthesia monitoring and dentistry, values team-based medicine, and enjoys contributing to the daily operations that keep a practice running smoothly.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures
- Perform and assist with dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and patient care
- Provide compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatments, and post-operative instructions
- Assist with inventory management and clinic organization
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
