Overview
Hitek Analytics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team and promote growing our growing portfolio of agricultural lab services. This role involves engaging with prospective and existing clients to promote our lab services. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, business development expertise, and a customer-focused approach in addition to basic scientific knowledge in the Agriculture Industry. The candidate will also be helping clients understand and utilize laboratory testing services including soil, plant tissue, water, feed, manure, compost, fertilizer, peat, and soil health analyses.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with growers, agronomists, crop consultants, retailers, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Promote laboratory services and diagnostic programs to existing and prospective clients.
- Explain laboratory testing services to clients.
- Support clients with sample submission procedures and reporting questions.
- Work closely with laboratory staff to ensure excellent customer service and timely task completion.
- Represent Hitek Analytics at trade shows, field days, and industry events.
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Gather market intelligence and communicate client needs to management.
- Utilize CRM software to manage opportunities, activities, and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Agricultural diploma programs combined with relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, laboratory services, crop consulting, or related industries
- Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
