Job Overview:
Eldridge Electric Inc. is a family-owned electrical contractor based in Brockville, Ontario, proudly serving the region since 1985. With major commercial construction projects confirmed across Ontario for the next two years, we are expanding our crew and have an immediate opening for an experienced licensed electrician with a strong commercial background.
This is a meaningful, long-term opportunity — not a short-term contract. We work on real commercial construction projects and we are looking for someone who takes their trade seriously.
Please note: We do not have apprenticeship openings at this time. This posting is for licensed 309A electricians only.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installing electrical systems on commercial construction projects
- Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and providing practical on-site solutions
- Working in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Code and all applicable safety standards
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors, general contractors, and fellow crew members
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment
What We Offer:
- Competitive wages: $45.00–$55.00/hour based on experience and credentials

Requirements:
- Valid Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Licence (required)
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in commercial construction (required)
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation (required)
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites across Ontario, including overnight stays as required — current and upcoming projects include Ottawa, Golden Lake, Petawawa, Pickle Lake, and Thunder Bay
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew
- Red Seal endorsement considered a strong asset
Position Details
- Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week
- Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday
- Work location: Project sites across Ontario
